Obituary

HAGEDORN.

Word was received in this city yesterday of the death, in Rock County, Minnesota, of Claus Hagedorn, an old settler of Scott County. Mr. Hagedorn came here in 1847 from Schleiswig-Holstein, and settled on a farm in Sheridan township, where he lived until a couple of years ago, when he sold out and went to Minnesota to live with his son. He was about 89 years of age, and was highly respected by all who knew him.

The remains will be brought to Davenport for interment.
