Obituary

NISSEN.

Mrs. Theodore Nissen died yesterday at her home on the corner of Tenth street and Tremont avenue after a lingering and very painful illness, of cancer of the face. She was born in Hamburg, and came to America in 1865, and in 1861 she was married to her surviving husband. Their home has been in this city for a great many years. A family of four sons survives the mother. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the residence as indicated, with interment at the West Davenport cemetery. The deceased was a kindly lovable woman, and in her long illness, attended with such great suffering, she had the sympathy of her friends all over this city.
