Obituary

STANLEY.

At the home of her son, L.C. Stanley, in Lincoln township, Monday, occurred the death of Mrs. Rebecca Stanley, from the effects of a stroke of paralysis, which first affected her a week ago. Deceased was born in Pennsylvania in 1812, and came to Lincoln township with her husband Wm. H. Stanley, in 1851. Mr. Stanley, after farming successfully for a score of years, died at 71, and since then Mrs. Stanley has lived with her children. Of these, L.C. and Hattie, at home, and Mrs. B.F. Berkey at Hebron, Neb., survive.
