Obituary

SASS.

The sad life of Mrs. Amelia Sass, 1112 West Second street, was brought to an end Sunday morning about 10 o'clock. Mrs. Sass had spent the greater portion of the half century of her life in Davenport. During the last few years she has had much sickness in her family, which embraced a number of children, her husband having died several years ago. For some time past Mrs. Sass had been failing with consumption. She leaves a much beloved stepdaughter about 20 years of age who attended her through her long and painful illness with much tenderness and love, also several younger children. The funeral will take place Wednesday at 2 o'clock from the residence the interment will be in the city cemetery. Friends of the family are invited.
