Mrs. Schwartz Taken In Death

Mrs. Grover Schwartz, Buffalo, Iowa, sister of Mrs. Hubert Fry, 407 S. Court, and a former Jefferson county resident, passed away Saturday night in the St. Lukes hospital in Davenport. Last rites are pending.

Mrs. Schwartz was the former Leona Stewart, born and reared on a farm southwest of Libertyville.

She suffered a stroke June 19, and had been in the hospital since. She suffered a second stroke last Wednesday from which she never recovered.

She is also survived by two children, Dorothy Link of Portland, Oregon, and Waldo Schwartz, Denver, Colo.

Thursday Services For Mrs. Schwartz

Last rites for Mrs. Grover Schwartz, Buffalo, will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. CDT at the Runge Funeral home in Davenport.

Mrs. Schwartz, sister of Mrs. Hubert Fry, 407 S. Court, died Saturday in a Davenport hospital. The former Leona Stewart, she was born and reared on a farm near Libertyville. Burial will be in Buffalo.
