Davenport Daily Republican; Tuesday, April 16, 1901:
Mrs. Catherine Soll passed away at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon at her home 816 West Fifth street after a long illness from dropsy. Mrs. Soll was 70 years of age, and has been a resident of Davenport for the past 40 years. Her husband, Peter L. Soll, and six children survive.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence, with interment in the City cemetery.
