The Tiedje Funeral-

Heinrich Tiedje, whose death was announced in last last evening's edition, was born in Holstein, Germany, Oct. 10, 1837, and in 1858 came to Davenport. He was married four years later and he then moved to Butler township and for the past 30 years has been a prominent resident of that place. He leaves to mourn their loss his wife Mrs. Margaret Tiedje, four sons, William, Henry, Adolph and John and five daughters, Mrs. Matilda Goos, Mrs. Anna Hanes, Mrs. Ella Eckstein, Mrs. Meta Claussen and Lena Tiedje at home. Three sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Moeller, Mrs. Johanna Stubbe, Mrs. Margarethe Reimers and a brother, T. Tiedje, also survive him.

The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon from the late home, in Butler township, south of McCausland, with interment in Tiedje cemetery.
