Dr. E. S. Barrows-
Dr. E. S. Barrows, the first physician to locate west of the Mississippi between points 100 miles north and south of Davenport, died in that city Wednesday. He would have been 93 years of age the 26th of this month. He came west in 1835, when Davenport was but a village.-Davenport Democrat
