Mrs Sadie Burkle, 79, Good Samaritan Home, Davenport formerly of Bettendorf died Monday in the home. Services will be 10am Thursday in the McGinnis Chapel, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
Sadie VanHoek was born in Moline. She married Charles E. Burkle in 1941 in Bettendorf. He died in 1956. Mrs Burkle is survived by a stepdaughter. Mrs George(Sylvia) Kerker, Reseda Calif., a sister Mrs Flora Jasper, Huntington Ind. and a brother, Frank VanHoek, Moline.
