mrs Joe LeGrange, 76, of Davenport, died Monday in the American Nursing Center, Davenport, after a brief illness. Services will be 1pm Thursday in the Runge Chapel. Burial iwll be in Davnport Memorial Park. Visitation at 7pm today at the Mortuary. Mrs LeGrange had been employed at the Bendix Corp until retiring. Nellis S Battinfeld was born in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She married Fred Schultz there in 1918. He Died in 1933. She married Mr LaGrange in 1936 in Cedar Falls. He died in 1971. Mrs LaGrange is survived by a daughter, Mrs Willard (virginia) Peters, Bettendorf; stepdaughters, Mrs Lawrence (Joella) Hoeck, rural Bettendord, and Mrs Alfred (Zenana) Hansen, Davenport: 15 grandchilden, 32 great grandchildren, and a brother Charles Battinfeld, Cedar Falls.
