DIED

In this place on Monday last, 4th inst., after 10 days illness, contracted on the American Bottoms, Mr. DAVID HOGE, aged 39 years.

Death of Mr. Hoge-
We are pained to have to record the death of our esteemed fellow citizen, David Hoge. For many years a resident of this place, and for a long time filling the capacity of Clerk of the District Court, he had become widely and favorably known. He had opportunely returned from a visit to St. Louis to die, after a brief illness, among those whom he most loved upon earth.
