Sindt

John Sindt died Friday afternoon at 1:30 at St. Joseph's Mercy hospital in Clinton after an extended illness, at the age of 93.

He was born in Probstei, Holstein, Germany, March 12, 1831, and came direct to Davenport in 1850. A brother, Henry Sindt, died in April, 1921, after reaching the age of 100.

Surviving are a brother, Thies Sindt, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Stoltenberg.

The body was brought to Davenport where funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Henry Runge's Sons parlors. Interment will be in Fairmount cemetery.
