MINER
Mrs. Mary E. Miner, wife of L.B. Miner, died last night at 9 o'clock at the family residence, 1324 Garnd avenue after a few days illness which ran into acute pneumonia and resulted fatally. Mrs. Miner was born July 9, 1842, in Philadelphia and was 58 years of age. Her marriage occurred Feb. 2, 1865, at Fulton, Ia, now called Stockton. She and her husband located at Davenport over 30 years ago and have been residents of the city ever since.
The surviving relatives besides Mr. Miner, are as follows: Her father, Andrew Smyth; three sisters, Mrs. B. S. Gould and Mrs. A. Miner of Davenport, and Mrs. Ira Yantis of Fond du Lac, Wis.; three sons, Andrew S. and John A. of Davenport, and L. Bayliss, Jr., of Del Rio, Tex; and one daughter, Miss Flora B., of this city.
The funeral arrangements will be announced later.
