Bernard Sievert, 95, formerly of 1229 W. 8th St., died at 9:15 Saturday morning at the Forest Park Sanitarium following an extended illness.

Born in Germany he spent the greater part of his life in Davenport.

Surviving is a nephew in St. Louis.

Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Halligan funeral home and at 9 in St. Joseph's church. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday.

Friends my call after noon on Monday.
