At 9 o’clock Sunday morning at the home of the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Hoffmann, at the age of 22 years and 7 months. Mr. Hoffmann was born and reared in Davenport and learned the trade of a blacksmith, being in the employ of Ben Leese and Kirk Brothers. He had been ailing for some time of tuberculosis.
Those left to survive him besides the parents are two brothers, Louis and Henry Hoffmann, and Frieda Hoffmann. The funeral will be held from the residence Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock with interment in Fairmount cemetery. The funeral will be held under the auspices of Cedar Camp, No. 27, M. W. A. of which he was a member.
