The Davenport Democrat and Leader; Friday Evening, January 9, 1925:

Boettger

The remains of Mrs. Julia Boettger will arrive in Davenport Saturday morning from Sanmatoe [sic], Cal. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the home of her brother-in-law, H. J. Boettger, 1629 West Ninth street. Interment will take place in the Fairmount cemetery.

The funeral of Mrs. Julia Boettger was held Sunday afternoon from the late home, 1629 West Ninth street. Rev. Carl Holterman officiated at the home and at the interment in Fairmount cemetery.

The pallbearers were Ed Boettger, Joe Eggleson, R. Lapehn, J. Ludwigson, H. Peters, and Carl Meier.

Boettger Will Leaves Estate to Two Sisters

Marie Howard of Tacoma, Wash., and Anna Neubert of San Mateo, Cal., sisters of the late Julianna Boettger, who died here Jan. 2, will inherit her entire estate, with the exception of $100 bequeathed to relatives in Germany, according to the will filed in district court for probate. H. J. Boettger is named executor.

The will leaves $50 to a sister, Margaretta Carstensen, and $25 each to two nephews, Conrad and Hans Carstensen, all residents of Germany.
Jebens & Butenschoen are the probating attorneys.
