Loomis

The funeral of Mrs. Catherine Loomis, 94-year-old lady who died Saturday, was held this morning from the Stapleton funeral home to St. Mary’s church. The Rev. R. J. Renihan celebrated requiem high mass, pronounced the burial absolution and preached the funeral sermon.

Services were largely attended and many beautiful floral tributes showed the high esteem in which the deceased was held.

Friends acting as pallbearers were B. St. Claire, J. Beesley, Ed O’Neal, A. Stouffer, L. Finley and R. A. Huss.

The Rev. J. J. Gaul officiated at the committal services in St. Marguerite’s cemetery.
