The funeral of Harry E. Briggs, whose body arrived in Davenport from Sioux City, accompanied by members of the family, was held Sunday afternoon from the Hill & Fredericks’ chapel.

The services were in charge of the Scott lodge No. 37, I. O. O. F. at the chapel and at the grave at Oakdale cemetery. J. J. Garretson, noble grand, officiated, and Emil Ohland, chaplain, offered a prayer.

The pallbearers were Dr. W. F. Hunt, C. H. Sutton, John Fraley, C. E. Anderson, Ben Gravink, and Emil Ohland.
