Theo. Stueben Drops Dead in Soft Drink Bar

Suffered Stroke at 2:15 O’Clock This Afternoon at Goldermann Bar

Theodore Stueben, 2216 West Third street, about 65 years old, dropped dead in the W. Goldermann soft drink bar, 423 West Second street, at 2:15 o’clock this afternoon.

Coroner J. D. Cantwell was called and pronounced death due to a stroke. The body was taken to the Nissen & Hartwig mortuary, but a few doors away.

Mr. Steuben had resided in Davenport for many years and was well known in the west end of the city. Surviving are his wife, Helen, and a son, Herman Stueben of Davenport, and many relatives.
