Peckenschneider

Funeral services for Robert Peckenschneider, who passed away at the Parkview Hospital in Pueblo, Colo., on his return trip from the Shriners Convention at Los Angeles, were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the home at 505 W. 14 street.

The services were under the auspices of the Fraternal Lodge No. 231-A. F. & A. M. Mr. Richard Evans, Chaplain, spoke at the grave in the Maysville cemetery where the remains were laid to rest. The Rev. J. Rolf, Rock Island had charge of the services at the home. Miss Helen Petersen, accompanied by Albert Petersen on the violin, and Arthur Petersen on the cello, sang “Nearer My God to Thee” and “The Vacant Chair.”

The pall-bearers were: Hugo Stahl, Orville Rohlff, Sam Rose, Ed. Donaldsen, Carl Michael and Ernst Schroeder.
