Hammond

The funeral of Ira Hammond, whose death occurred Saturday morning, was held Monday afternoon at 3:15 at the family home, 1004 Charlotte avenue.

Rev. John Thorne, pastor Newcomb chapel, officiated both at the home and at the grave in Oakdale cemetery. There was a large attendance of relatives and friends of the deceased, the Tri-City Railway union, of which Mr. Hammond was a member, being largely represented.

Pallbearers were L. Stokes, Dr. W. D. Carroll, Albert, Carroll, and Mrs. Bromps, Mull and Anderson.
