OBITUARY
MALONE, Mrs. Bridget. Died Friday afternoon at 7:45 o'clock at her late home, No. 3 Riverside place, aged 67 years and 11 months.
Bridget Finnegan was born in Ireland on February 2, 1838. With her parents she came to America, the family taking up residence in LaSalle county, Ill., where Miss Finnegan was united in marriage to James Malone in 1858. In 1870 Mr. and Mrs. Malone moved to Iowa and settled on a farm near Gambril, in Butler township, in Scott county. Mrs. Malone lost her husband by death some years ago, and in 1895 removed to Davenport, which has been her home since that date.
Mrs. Malone was the mother of ten children of which number seven daughters, being Miss Julia Malone, Davenport; Mrs. James Grady, Chicago; Mrs. W.H. Higgins, Davenport; Mrs. Michael Malone, Bradford, Ill. and Misses Elizabeth, Tresa and Cecelia Malone of Davenport.
Two sisters also survive, Mrs. George Longman and Miss Anna Finnegan, of Charlotte, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at the Sacred Heart cathedral at 9 o'clock Monday morning and the body taken to St. Anne's cemetery, Long Grove, for burial by the side of her husband in the family burial plot.
