OBITUARY

LAHL, Henry. Died Sunday night at 10:45 o'clock at the home of his mother, Mrs. Rudolph Lahl, two and one half miles south of Eldridge, aged 28 years.

Mr. Lahl was born in Scott county, and spent almost his entire life on the farm near Eldridge, which he has managed for his mother since his father's death some time ago. He was a respected and well liked young man, with a promising future. He was taken sick about three weeks ago with typhoid fever which terminated fatally last night. There survive him these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Emil Hamann, Minnesota; Mrs. Henry Voss, Mt. Joy, Ia.; and Adolph, Laura, Henrietta, Katie, Leonora and Ella, at home.

The time of the funeral will be announced tomorrow.
