OBITUARY

FLYNN, John P. Died yesterday afternoon at 2:45 at his home, 823 Brown street. Age 72 years, 7 months and 9 days. Funeral on Friday morning at 9 o'clock with interment at Holy Family cemetery.

John P. Flynn was born March 17, 1832, in Ireland. In 1856 he was married to Miss Mary Rogers in Manchester, Eng., and later removed to this country, coming directly to Davenport. He has been employed by the Davenport Gas company for the past seventeen years. His survivors are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. W.H. Holliday, and four sons, E.P., J.T., M.J. and Leo E. Flynn. The funeral will be held Friday morning from the residence with services at St. Mary's church at 9 o'clock and interment in Holy Family cemetery.
