OBITUARY

ROSTOCK, Christian, died at 4 o'clock yesterday morning.

Born in Probstei, Germany, July 28, 1841, he came to this country about forty years ago, and has been engaged in the capacity of a painter. He leaves a wife, Elizabeth, nine children, two brothers and two sisters, all residing in this city. He suffered from pneumonia and had been in a serious condition for but ten days.

The funeral will be held from the late home, 115 Division street, at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon with interment at Fairmount cemetery.
