Our Congratulations

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Watkins will observe their 60th wedding anniversary Jan. 3, 1961.

The former Elsie Winrow and Mr. Watkins were married Jan. 3, 1901 in the parsonage of Argo Presbyterian Church, Argo, Iowa. They are the parents of 11 children: Mrs. Herbert Steiger, Bettendorf; Mrs. Arnold Wiebers and Mrs. Albert Wiebers, both of Camanche; Mrs. Howard McFate, LeClaire; Mrs. Gertrude Cale, Davenport; Mrs. George Getty, Riverdale; Harry, Pleasant Valley; Russell and Thomas H. of Bettendorf; Merle, Horton, Mich., and Donald, deceased. There are 42 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren.

The Watkins are life residents of Scott County and have farmed most of their lives in the Pleasant Valley vicinity.
