WEDDING BELLS

--------

Mohr--Rauch.

At the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Mohr 1025 Main street, in this city, on Wednesday evening last occurred the marriage of their son, Herman, and Miss Emma Rauch. It was one of the homelike and good old fashioned weddings. The parlors were beautifully decorated for the occasion, a huge wedding bell of roses beneath which the ceremony was performed by Justice S. A. Finger in a most impressive manner. After the ceremony the wedding party, which was composed of the immediate relatives of the contracting parties, sat about one of the most delightful suppers conceivable. The groom is a young farmer of this county. He was born and reared here and is well known all over the county, while the bride is a daughter of a well known Moline family and formerly made her home there. Before the evening had gone far there was a visit by a charivari(???) party from the country, which made the horses(???) awaken. The young couple will go to housekeeping on one of the farms of the groom's father, in Lincoln township, of this county. Mr. Mohr, Sr., is one of the retired farmers of the county.
