June 8, 1950 - October 1, 2021

Beth Reinhart, age 71 of Odebolt, IA, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021, at Black Hawk Life Care Center in Lake View, IA. Beth June Rake was born on June 8, 1950, to parents Francis and Evelyn (Demitroff) Rake in Fort Dodge, IA. She grew up in Kansas and Iowa, where she graduated from Odebolt High School.

On January 13, 1969, Beth was united in marriage to Keith Reinhart at the Odebolt Methodist Church. This union was blessed with three sons: Shane, Chad, and Aaron. They raised their family in Odebolt where Beth worked as a cook for the school and for Cubbies Gas Station in town. Her passion was cooking and she loved to bake. Family gatherings were very important to Beth, as they were centered around her food. “GFC” grandmas fried chicken, potato salad, and bean soup were her famous dishes!

Beth was the rock of the family, taking her children camping, attending their school activities, and going on family vacations. She was also very involved in her church and loved her church community. Beth enjoyed playing games and cards

Beth was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be dearly missed by those that knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Keith Reinhart of Odebolt, IA; children: Shane Reinhart of Odebolt, IA, Chad (Mary) Reinhart of Odebolt, IA, and Aaron Reinhart of Odebolt, IA; grandchildren: Jordan Brungardt, Alexis Reinhart, Bryce Reinhart, Blake Reinhart, Kirsten Reinhart, and Hailey Reinhart; sister Pat Rake of Lake View, IA; brothers: Tom (Rita) Rake of Odebolt, IA, and Pete (Holly) Rake of TX; brothers-in-law Andre(Barb) Reinhart of Iowa City, IA, Kerry (Deb) Reinhart of Odebolt, IA; sister-in-law Kandis Peters of Odebolt, IA; many extended family members and several friends.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Tim, John, and Craig, and sisters Peg and Lori.
