Peter Clarkin, father of Mrs.
Patrick Cunningham and Peter Clarkin, jr., died of old age Monday, Aug. 24, 1896 at the Cunningham residence in Douglas township. Funeral services were held at Fonda, Wednesday, Aug. 26, and the body was laid at rest in the Catholic cemetery at that place.
