Cora Weigel, 84, of Carlisle died of congestive heart failure Thursday at Carlisle Care Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Elkhart Christian Church in Elkhart with burial at Elkhart Cemetery.

Mrs. Weigel was born in Brumley, Missouri and had lived in Garden Grove many years before moving to Carlisle six years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Federated Garden Club and had served as a judge for the club. She enjoyed flowers, quilts and crafts.

She is survived by a daughter, Kathy Baker of Windsor, Colo.; four sons, Dick of Des Moines, Tom of Mountain Home, Ark., Paul of Ellston and Dan of New Virginia; three brothers, Hank Robinett of Collins, Lee Robinett of Gainesville, Fla., and Johnny Robinette of Brumley, Mo.; 23 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles [and daughter Carol Ann].

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Elkhart Christian Church.
