Obituary - Mrs. Elmer BRECKENRIDGE

Cora Sophia STEINKAMP was born at Maryville, Mo., Dec. 24, 1885, and died at her home in Tingley, Iowa, Dec. 31, 1911, aged 26 years and one week. When 11 years of age she was converted and united with the Church of Christ, of which she was a consistent and faithful member at the time of her death. When 17 years of age she moved with her parents to Tingley. She was united in marriage to Elmer BRECKENRIDGE Nov. 6, 1906. To them was born a son, Keith, aged three weeks. Besides a devoted husband and infant son, she leaves to mourn her departure her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.J. STEINKAMP, two sister, Mrs. Ellsworth BRECKENRIDGE and Macelle STEINKAMP, all of Tingley, and one brother, John STEINKAMP, of Burrell, Neb., and a host of other relatives and friends. She was of a quiet, retiring disposition, a loving daughter and sister, and a devoted wife. She has truly won her home in heaven. The funeral services, which were held Tuesday afternoon at the Christian church, conducted by Rev. L.C. SWAN of Mt. Ayr, were very largely attended. The bereaved ones have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community. Interment was made in the Tingley cemetery.
