TROXELL, ECKERMAN, HULL, SMITH, BALDERSTON, WILKINS

Earl Bryan TROXELL, son of David and Jennie (YOUNG) TROXELL, was born April 7, 1897, at Henning, Ill. and passed away November 7, 1973, in his home near Tingley at the age of 76 years and seven months.

He came with his parents to Iowa when he was five years of age and spent the rest of his life in Taylor and Ringgold counties.

On May 9, 1923, he was united in marriage with Marie ECKERMAN, and of this union were born two children - Lyle of Marcellus, Mich. and Margaret of Des Moines.

As a young man, he united with the Christian Church in Kellerton and was a member of the Tingley church after moving to Tingley in 1921. He was a member of the American Legion of Tingley and World War I veterans of Mount Ayr.

He leaves to mourn besides his widow and children, a daughter-in-law, Carol TROXELL, a son-in-law, Bernard HULL, Seven grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, two sisters, Mildred (Mrs. Clyde BALDERSTON) of Bend, Ore and Velma (Mrs. Charles SMITH) of Hood River, Ore., two brothers, Wayne of Medford, Ore and Vern of Sparks, Nevada and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held November 10, from the Christian Church in Tingley, conducted by the Rev. M.J. WILKINS. Burial was in the Tingley Cemetery.
