Sara Mae Clough Reese (born August 7, 1932) passed from this world on May 31, 2019. Appropriately near Memorial Day, we will remember her kind and gentle soul. Sara led a full and happy life, growing up in the heartland of Iowa, marrying her high school sweetheart, Don Reese and lived and traveled throughout the U.S. for 50 plus years, visiting every State, plus celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary in Hawaii with family. Their home base was Hideaway Lake near Lindale, Texas, when they were not traveling in the RV. Sara loved nature and volunteer work for the US Forestry Service in Alaska and Montana for 18 years with Donís traveling business. She also enjoyed her Volunteer Work at The University of Texas Health Center in Tyler, TX. Her family loved and enjoyed receiving wonderfully-written letters about her on-the-road adventures. Sara moved to Florida in 2014 to be closer to her daughter, Shellee. She was loved, truly well-cared for and survived by her children, Gordon Reese and spouse, Paula, Donovan Reese and spouse, Rebekah, and Shellee Reese Wells and spouse, Dan. Grandchildren Grady Reese (great grandchildren Belle and Max Reese), Sara Ann Amanda Dewanz spouse, Dan (great grandchildren Liam and Francesca) and Megan Reese. Extended family through Gordon and Paulaís marriage include Jennifer and Dennis Hevern (children, Brandon, Amanda, Nathan and Rebekah); Peter and Mindi Millunzi (children, Gillian and Andrew) and Stephen and Margi Millunzi (children, Dominic, Vincent, Michael and Mathew).
Preceding her in death are her husband, Don Reese, her parents, Harold and Dora Clough, Donís parents, Cecil and Bessie Reese, her brother, James Clough, and her sister, MaryAnn Clough.
