OBITUARY ~ JEANE (ROUND) ENGLAND
December 18, 1926 ~ September 30, 2017

Jeane England, daughter of Ralph & Eva (Winemiller) Round, was born December 18, 1926 at Conway, Iowa. Jeane graduated from Clearfield high school.

On August 23, 1945, she was united in marriage to Dwight England and to this marriage was born three children: Thom, Sandy, and Linda. In addition to being a homemaker, Jeane also worked 31 years at McMahon Drug in Corning, Iowa. Jeane also worked at Country Foods. She lived in Clearfield, Shenandoah, Indianola, Oskaloosa, Corning, and Lees Summit before returning to Clearfield to become a resident of Clearview Homes.

Jeane was a wonderful cook and will be remembered for her prize-winning Rhubarb pie. She was creative and had prize winning Crazy Days costumes; enjoyed her crafts, string art and sewing. Jeane liked to work outdoors with her flowers, plants and garden. She had a love of dogs and they included Scamp, Augie, Bingo, and grand dogs Haylea, London, Maxx, and Chester. Jeane has always enjoyed her birds and loved to feed and watch them. In later years, she became a St Louis Cardinals fan.

Jeane passed away on September 30, 2017 at Clearview Home in Clearfield, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight, on December 24, 1967; parents; brother Don Round; and sister Helen McClintock.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children Thom England & wife Nancy of Boise, ID, Sandy England of Des Moines, IA, and Linda Hubbuch and husband Mike of Lee’s Summit, MO; grandchildren Tracy England & wife Nancy of Bend, OR, Aaron England of Boise, ID, Tristan England & wife Kristy of Omaha, NE, and Nick Hubbuch of Lee’s Summit, MO; great grandchildren Emerson & Clara England of Omaha, NE; other relatives and friends.

The family thanks the staff of Clearview Homes, Dr. Krogstad, and HCI Care Services (Hospice).

A memorial fund has been established to HCI Care Services in Mount Ayr or a personal favorite charity in Jeane’s name. Services were held 11:00 am – Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at the United Methodist Church – Clearfield, Iowa, with officiant Rev. Michael Shaffer. Interment was made in Clearfield Cemetery – Clearfield, Iowa.

Armstrong Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
