On Friday, August 25, 2017 heaven gained a precious angel, Sharon Kay (Britt) Hower, entered into eternal peace at Greater Regional Hospice House at the age of 73. Sharon was born April 20, 1944 to William Alan and Eva Pearl (Watts) Britt in their home on Highway 62 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Sharon was one of ten children: Ray, Tiny (Glenn), Norman, Ruby Jean, Nadine, Bill (June), Ronald, Donnie, and Mikey. She grew up attending school in Mountain Home. Over the years she was employed at Baxter Lab, Williams Café, Taylor Fiberglass, Sheridan Egg, Texaco and she also provided daycare services. In 1966, Sharon met Richard (Dick) Lee Hower, the love her life, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Sharon and Dick were married May 29, 1967 in Grant City, Missouri. Sharon’s love for her family was endless; however the love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was even greater. She loved planting and caring for her multiple flower gardens and collecting angels. Sharon also shared a strong bond with her best friends Barb Strange and Linda Klug, and her niece Debbie Parks.
