OBITUARY ~ MORRIS MARVIN CRONBAUGH
November 05, 1950 ~ July 30, 2017

Morris Marvin Cronbaugh was born November 5, 1950 in Marengo, Iowa to Alice (Wauters) and Marvin Dale Cronbaugh. Marvin departed this life on July 30, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.

Marvin received his elementary education in Iowa County Country School #5 and finished his education at Belle Plaine Community School. In high school, Marv was active in football, wrestling and FFA. Eventually, he moved to Diagonal, Iowa where he worked at the Clearfield Co-op and engaged in farming. He married Delberta Routh in 1975 in Lenox, Iowa and they later divorced. After moving to Arizona, he worked in construction installing sprinkler systems. He married Candy Rose in 1985 in Peoria, Arizona.

Left to cherish his memory are five children: Kisha Cronbaugh of Lenox, Iowa, Tessa (Justin) Hummel and their children, Brooklyn, Sophia and Hailee of Youngtown, Arizona, Amy (Travis) Bridgeman and their children Gavin and Charlotte of Youngtown, Arizona, Chris of Washington, D.C. and Robin of Youngtown, Arizona. Marvin is also survived by two sisters Charlene (Dennis) Drews of Elk River, MN and Karleen (John) Stephens of Diagonal, IA and an Aunt Margaret Wauters of Traer as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Marvin was preceded in death by his father Dale, mother Alice and brother Danny.

Visitation will be held September 14, 2017 at Armstrong Funeral Home in Mt. Ayr, Iowa with family present from 6:00-8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, September 16 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Belle Plaine, Iowa with a 9:30 a.m. Rosary prior to the mass. Inurnment wiIl be in the Koszta Cemetery located near Koszta, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers, the family has designated memorial funds to the Diagonal Community School.
