May 26, 1916 ~ May 25, 2017

Clara Irene Tull, died peacefully on May 25, 2017 at 100 years and 364 days old.

Born on May 26, 1916 on a rural farm near Diagonal, Iowa, to Willard Wilford and Nora Beatrice Burnworth Baker, Irene was lovingly married to Alvin Lee Tull, who died in 2001. With five children, Irene could often be found keeping the boys in line and sharing in her children’s interests - from antiquing to farming and entrepreneurial adventures – and traveling to various points of interest.

Those left to cherish her memory include three sons, Howard Tull (Jenny) of Tingley, Von Tull (Judi) of Afton, Glen Tull of Creston, daughter Janet Sissel (Jim) of Creston, daughter-in-law Jean Tull of Creston and sister in law Ro Emma Tull of Creston. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Ronald Tull, a granddaughter Teresa Tull and sisters; Loas also known as Tudie Allen (Cecil) and Opal Overholser (Paul). Eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren also survive her.

No public services are planned. Pearson Family Funeral Service, 809 W. Montgomery St. Creston IA, 50801 is in charge of the arrangements.
