March 28, 1947 ~ January 19, 2017Patricia Kay O'Grady, 69, of Des Moines passed away of natural causes Thursday, January 19, 2017. She was born March 28, 1947 in Creston, Iowa to Doris (Pettis) and Ralph O'Grady.
Pat attended Kellerton Elementary School and Grand Valley High School in Kellerton, Iowa [graduating with the Class of 1965]. She moved to Des Moines after high school and worked at a variety of jobs retiring from AlCan Corporation.
Pat was preceded in death by her mother, father and grandparents, Joe and Bessie Pettis and Robert and Lucy O'Grady.
She is survived by her sisters, Ann (Don) Parks of Las Vegas and Fran O'Grady and brother, Dennis Johnson of Des Moines. She is also survived by niece, Cheryl Kern and nephew, Shawn (Christa) Rainey of Des Moines as well as grand nephews and numerous cousins.
No services are scheduled. A memorial will be planned at a later date.
