OBITUARY ~ ROBERT LEWIS NOVAK
September 9, 1921 ~ September 19, 2016

Robert Louis Novak, 95, of Sterling, VA, passed away September 19, 2016. He was the son of Cyril & Maud Novak and was born on September 4, 1921 in Ringgold County, Iowa. Upon graduation from Benton High School he attended Iowa State University. He was united in marriage Barbara Suren. Then went on to complete a lifetime carrier at General Electric. Upon his retirement he taught computer classes and he and Barbara volunteered at hospitals.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara in 2015; a brother Laverne (wife Mary) Novak.

Survivors include his; daughter Terry; brother George (wife LaRetta) Novak of Creston; other relatives & friends.

Graveside service were held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Maloy, Iowa with Father David Polich officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.armstrongfh.com.
