OBITUARY ~ LAWRENCE E. "LARRY" MUNYON
January 03, 1917 ~ November 24, 2009

Lawrence E. Larry Munyon, 92, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at Southwest Health Center Nursing Home in Cuba City. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 28, 2009, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Cuba City with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Friday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish wake service will be at 3:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Larry was born on January 3, 1917, in Ellston, Iowa, the son of Raymond and Florence (Ryan) Munyon.

Larry operated Munyon's Service Station from 1971 until his retirement in 1981. He was a member of the Cuba City Lions. Larry loved fishing, Sunday drives, playing cards, and double bubble hour.

Survivors include three sons, Gerald Munyon of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, Mike Spider (Charlene) Munyon, of Cuba City, and Chuck (Shelia Trotter-special friend) Munyon, of Cuba City; a daughter, Gwen Jotham, of Apache Junction, Arizona; two step-daughters, Linda (Michael) Murphy and Joan (Tim) Pickel, both of Cuba City; three step-sons, Dan (Pat) Ramaker, of Cuba City, Dale Ramaker, of Hazel Green, and Glenn (Julie) Ramaker, of Cuba City; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; thirteen step-grandchildren; and thirteen step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Amorita (Wagner) in 1982; his second wife, Kathleen (Hendricks) Ramaker in 2005; two sisters, Mildred and Donnella; three brothers, Carroll, Paul, and Burl "Pete"; and a son-in-law, Wade.

The family would like to thank the staff at Southwest Health Center Nursing Home for the excellent care given to Larry.

Casey Funeral Home of Cuba City [WI] was in charge of arrangements.
