Funeral services for Beulah Fern Tindle were scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Jan. 16 at the United Methodist Church in Clearfield with Rev. Len Garrison officiating. Wilson-Watson-Armstrong Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Providing music were Patty Parrish and Carol Ann Kinder. Pall bearers were nephews Richard Riley, Randall Riley, Mark Wilson, David Riley, Mike Ford and Ryan Wilson. Burial was in the Clearfield Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established in her name.

Beulah was born in Lincoln Township, Ringgold County, on March 20, 1914, to George A. and Nettie Pearl (Routh) Tindle.

She passed away in the Ringgold County Hospital on Jan. 13, 2002, at the age of 87 years, 9 months and 24 days.

Beulah spent most of her life caring for others. At an early age she helped care for neighbors, relatives and friends in times of need. After the death of her father, she came home to care for her mother and brother until their deaths.
Having no children of her own, Beulah's nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews were her pride and joy.

She was a member of the Busy Bee Community Club and enjoyed traveling to the Tingley congregate meal site with the Joneses. She maintained the farm home and enjoyed country life until March 2000 when she entered the Clearview Home in
Clearfield.

Survivors include two sisters, Eula Mae (husband Elvin) Riley of Lenox and Mary Belle (husband the late Marvin) Wilson of Lenox; nieces and nephews Richard Riley and family of California, Randall Riley and family of Lenox, David Riley and
family of Lenox, Nancy Ford and family of Tingley, Anne Nette Hanson and family of Nebraska, Mark Wilson and family of Lenox, Carol Garrity and family of Nebraska, and Robin McGary and family of Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Nettie Tindle, and her brother, G.A. Tindle.
