OBITUARY ~ MARLOW STEINBERG

Marlow STEINBERG, age 71, of Alden [Iowa], died on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at the Heritage Care Center in Iowa Falls. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the Alden United Methodist Church with visitation an hour before services.

Marlow Steinberg was born on April 30 1940 to Marion and Myrna (CHRISTIANSEN) STEINBERG in Iowa Falls, Iowa. Marlow graduated from the Alden High School in 1958 and then went on to attend the University of Northern Iowa for Education and Music. Marlow was a teacher in Audubon, Gilmore City, Kellerton and Alta. He also owned and operated Marlow's gift and music shop in down town Alden. Marlow was a member of the Alden Masonic Lodge, the Alden United Methodist Church where he was the church organist for many years and he loved to produce music shows.

Marlow is survived by several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surls Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
