OBITUARY ~ DEATH CLAIMS A HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR

Death entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. J. FULLERTON on last Friday evening when their son Howard passed away after a brief sickness of but a few days. Death was due to complications following an attack of La Grippe.

Howard Oscar FULLERTON, second son of Mr. and Mrs. M. J. FULLERTON was born in Ringgold County, Iowa, Dec. 16, 1898 and died at the parental home 3 1/2 miles north of Atkinson on the evening of Jan. 26, 1917.

His age was 18 years 1 months and 20 days. He united with the United Presbyterian Church of Tingley, Iowa at the age of 9 and was an active and faithful member of the Presbyterian Church of Atkinson at the time of his death. His place in the life of the church will be greatly missed. He was a young man of many sterling qualities and much admired by old and young. He was a young man of moral and intellectual leadership. He was honor member of this years senior class of Atkinson high school.

The funeral service was conducted from the home on Sabbath afternoon.
