OBITUARY ~ CHARLES W. SPINLER

Charles W. SPINLER, 71, of Mount Ayr, died Sept. 16, at Mount Ayr, following a lingering illness.

Formerly of Cedar County, where he opearted feed stores. He had been a Mount Ayr resident for 2 years.

He was born Nov. 11, 1907, in Linn County, the son of James and Gertrude (McCANN) SPINLER. He was married to Inez A. CARR on Dec. 19, 1935, at Kahoka, Mo. Mr. SPINLER was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Mount Ayr.

He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.

Surviving are two brothers, Marven (sic, should be Marvin) of Central City and Raymond of Coggon and other relatives and friends.
