Ross G Hamilton was born near Northboro, Iowa, in Page County Sept 19, 1889, and passed away Friday morning at 2:30 o'clock Jan 4, 1957. He was 67 years, 3 months, 16 days old. He was the youngest son of Joseph and Nancy Hamilton.

He was educated in the schools of Page and Taylor Counties and lived most of his life in Iowa except 3 years on a farm near Sargent, Nebr. He returned to Iowa and did farming most of his life. On account of failing health he moved to Clearfield 3 years ago.

Saturday evening, he suffered a stroke from which he never
regained consciousness.

On March 29 1911 he was united in marriage with Laura Ethel Wallace. His father, mother, three brothers and one sister preceded him in death He was of a friendly and kind nature and will be missed very by his loved ones and friends.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Crew Funeral Home in Clearfield, burial In the Clearfield cemetery.

Out of town people attending the funeral were Mr and Mrs Milo Hamilton, Mr and Mrs Harry Loop of Fairfield, Mr and Mrs Boyd Hamilton Sr and son of Farragut. Mr and Mrs Lloyd Hullinger and son. Mrs Jocie Chilcote and Miss Francis Connor of Bedford, Mrs Edna Fattig and friend and Clarence Beattyof Creston, Mrs Beula M Rush and Mrs Cloris Hetrick of Omaha, Mr and Mrs Marvin Rush, Ft. Cook, Nebr. Mr and Mrs Ralph Lyddon, Leon.
