The subject of this short obituary was born in Ringgold County, Iowa, March 18, 1884, and died at her late home in Clearfield August 25th, 1915, being at the time of her death 31 years, 5 months and 1 day of age. She was the youngest daughter of Emmerson and Havilla Price. She was married to Isaac R. Lane March 21st, 1912. In early life she became a Christian, and those most intimately associated with her assure us that she lived every day a Christ-like life and died triumphant in the Christian's faith.

The funeral services were held at her late home, and were conducted by her pastor, J. W. Johnson, pastor of the Christian Church. The large company present at the services gave mute testimony as to the beauty of her character, and to the love and respect in which she was held by the people of the community.

She leaves a loving, faithful husband, two sisters, three brothers, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her early departure . {Poem]
