Hassell, Harry -
Harrry Hassell was born to Charles and Laura Hassell in Ringgold County January 4, 1892 and passed away Dec. 23, 1952. aged 60 years 11 months and 19 days.

He was united in marriage to Mrs. Grace Gard, September 10,1936. He joined the Methodist Church, April 15. 1906. He was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and saw battle service in France in World War I.

Mr. Hassell followed farming most of his life changing to carpentering the last five years. This he followed until health would not permit. He leaves to mourn his departure besides his true and faithful wife, one brother Bert of Diagonal; one sister, Mrs. Guy Horton of Lenox; and two nephews.

He was a good neighbor, friendly with everybody, going about in a quiet manner, and was faithful to his mother and will be missed by those who knew him.

Funeral Services were held Dec. 26, the Rev. C. McPherson officiating. Burial was in Clearfield cemetery.
