Clarke, Alpha –
Alpha Clarke, age 76 years passed away suddenly at his home in North Clearfield at 3 p.m. Nov. 26.
He grew to manhood in the Clearfield vicinity and in June 1902 was married to Miss Stella Hess. His entire life was spent near and in the town of Clearfield. Farming was his chosen occupation. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Two cousins, Glen Williams of Atlantic, and Howard F. Williams, who died m 1950 made their home with Mr. and Mrs. Clark and were loved as their own. Mr. Clark is survived by his wife Stella, one sister, Alice Cowell of Venice, Calif., two nieces and one nephew.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, at the Methodist Church and burial in Clearfield Cemetery.
