OBITUARY ~ RUSSELL WOLFE
Russell WOLFE, 68, passed away March 18, 2011, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
Russell was born February 25, 1943 in Diagonal, Iowa to Albert and Stephana WOLFE. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a maintenance tech with Mahle North America. His hobbies included, amateur radio, RC airplanes and he was a VW mechanic/enthusiast. He will be remembered for his quick wit and outrageous humor.
Russell is survived by his wife of 46 years, Marilyn; children, Mark (Belinda) WOLFE, Stephanie (Mike) SHIFFER; six grandchildren, Alishia, Alex, Jennifer, Amber, Karen, and Jonathon; four siblings, Steve, Dorcas, Bruce, and Sara.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sonya; nephews, Jonathan, Brent and Shane; great-niece, Allison; and great-nephew, Nathan.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
Per Russell's wishes, his body has been cremated.
