NOTICE of DEATH.

Died, at 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 14, Mrs. Sarah P. SAVILLE, aged almost 80 years. Mrs. SAVILLE died full of days, years and christian faith. She has been known in Mt. Ayr among her many friends as a most agreeable aged lady. She was a respected and consistent member of the Presbyterian church, and loved and faithfully waited upon its services. Her pastor, Rev. E. P. WOOD, conducted the service, and she was buried in the south cemetery, on Thursday, the 16th.

NOTE: Sarah P. SAVILLE was the wife of John SAVILLE who was born in Rockbridge, Virgina on November 12, 1809. John and Sarah were married near Natural Bridge, Virginia on April 4, 1832. They moved to Knox County near Knoxville, Tennessee in the fall of 1856, and then near Xenia, Green County, Ohio in the fall of 1863 after obtaining a pass from the the commander of the Federal troops. In the fall of 1868, the SAVILLES moved to Ringgold County, arriving in Mount Ayr on October 15. John and Sarah P. SAVILLE were the parents of nine children. John and Sarah P. SAVILLE were interred at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa.

Of John and Sarah P. SAVILLE's Children: Jacob Abraham SAVILLE was born January 17, 1841 in Rockbridge County, Virginia, and died January 26, 1921. He married Mary Emma HENDERSON October 18, 186, Morgan County, Illinois. Mary Emma (HENDERSON) SAVILLE was born May 27, 1846, and died August 2, 1935. They were interred at Redding Cemetery, Redding, Ringgold County, Iowa.
